La Manga del Mar Menor Vacation Packages

My husband, daughter and I spent 5 nights here. Our apartment was a 2-bedroom with Mountain View. Very generous sized rooms, 1 en-suite and 1 separate bathroom. The place itself is very clean and tidy, situated in a quiet area and within walking distance to the Mercadona, Spar and the beach where you’ll find a variety of bars and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, cutlery etc. Overall we had a great stay, would definitely return and recommend to others.

The hotels definitely lives up to its pictures, walking around the grounds is breathtaking and the layout of reception inviting. Unfortunately the beautiful hotel missed some ambience. Lacking in music. Breakfast we decided to sample did not disappoint our taste buds, an amazing continental buffet style, with an additional option of ordering an array of eggs pancakes etc.. This was of great quality and alot of choice. The downsides to our stay was staff, a couple tainted the rest of the bunch. At night there was a friendly helpful bar person. But during the day not a smile to be seen and a word hardly spoken. Unfortunately we didn't sample the lunch and dinner menu as the rude staff once seated put us off partaking after giving them a second chance and still the same treatment we decided to venture out. Thankfully Elche didn't disappoint!

Worst experience ever - the room smells mouldy and me and my wife felt suffocated just from staying there for 1 hr. We tried everything, opened windows and vented for a long time but the smell keeps coming back. Note that this was the «deluxe» room! I immediately booked a new hotel and moved for fear of our health. As the contact guy(Carlos) said he didn’t have other rooms available and couldn’t come over to help us. I have saved the entire conversation. We filed for refund later, they lied that we had smoked in the room and broken rules :( So just stay away from them, if you want a peaceful vacation. They are not even that cheap. We booked here because we thought they were central, but you get much better quality hotels just 10mins walk. I wish I had investigated that before :(

A fantastic place in a quiet area. Private and secluded, yet close to beaches and the town. Great outdoor area and pool. We didn't spend much time indoors, but there was plenty of space to spread out inside as well. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room provided a great way to cool off during the hottest times of the day. We will definitely come back here next time we are in the area.
